I ordered my usual skincare from Adore Beauty i was mainly paying attention to whether it seemed genuine. The smell, texture, and packaging were exactly the same as the one I’ve bought in-store before, so that was enough for me. Delivery was fine, nothing strange or sketchy. I’d happily buy it again.

I tried getting help with my order and it seriously took forever to hear back. When they finally replied, the messages were super short and didnt really answer what I was asking. Frustrating tbh... if support is gonna be this slow, I don’t think I’ll be ordering again...

I used to rely on Adore Beauty for most of my regular beauty bits, but lately my gut feeling is that the range just isn’t what it used to be. A few brands I was looking for either weren’t there at all or only had a tiny selection, and the shades I needed were out of stock. I trust my instincts when shopping, and this time I ended up going elsewhere for about half my order. Disappointing, to be honest.

"Return took way longer than it should have"
Sorting out my return took ages. The replies were really slow, and I kept thinking it was almost done, but then, anyway, it did get sorted in the end. Just way more annoying than I expected.

"A bit let down by the extras"
I ordered from Adore Beauty mainly because the free samples and that gift at checkout looked good. When my order turned up, one of the samples was missing and the free gift wasn’t the one I’d picked. I know this stuff can run out and all that, but there wasn’t any note or explanation, so it just felt a bit random. The actual order was fine, but the samples and gifts are a big part of why I shop there. A bit disappointing this time.

"Rewards just don’t feel worth it anymore"
I’ve been using the loyalty program for a while, but the points take forever to add up. the rewards feel kind of weak now. There’s just something about it that doesn’t feel as exciting or worthwhile as it used to.

I do really like the products on Adore Beauty, but the delivery has been a bit unreliable for me. My last order was meant to arrive within a few days, but it ended up taking over a week, and the tracking barely updated the whole time. I totally get that delays happen, but this is the second time it’s happened now. Customer service did reply, but they didn’t really give me much more information, which was frustrating. Not the worst experience ever, but definitely annoying when you’re waiting on things you actually need.

I ordered this because it looked like the perfect shade for me, but when it arrived, it was totally the wrong color and one of the items was missing too. I’ve had similar mix-ups with beauty orders before, but this one was extra frustrating because support took ages to get back to me. it was annoying and not the experience I was hoping for
